ACCOUNTANT III

Duties and Responsibilities

- Reconciliations for Corporate Division ? receivable reserves, payroll and fringe analysis and accruals, loss contracts, gross margin, etc.
- Evaluate processes and formulate changes for better efficiency and effectiveness ? at Corporate and in Operations
- Intra/Inter Company reconciliations and confirmations (Tyco and Earth Tech entities)
- Audit schedule preparation as needed and assist in coordination of requests
- Month End analysis, journal entries and reporting
- Forecasting and Budgets assistance
- Accounting Procedures and Processes evaluate and formulate changes for better efficiency, effectiveness and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley
- Other reporting ? Assist in preparation of year end Tyco Tax packages, survey reporting, other quarterly and annual reporting for Tyco/ET Management
- All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

- B.S. in Accounting/Finance, required
- Oracle experience or comparable system, required
- 5 years combined experience, including 2 or 3 years of public accounting and 2 years experience (in service industry preferred)
- Strong accounting, analytical and spreadsheet skills (Excel, Access)
- Self motivated, self-starter with professional demeanor
- Able to work independently and with a team
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Accurate and detail oriented.
