ASSOCIATE PREMIUM AUDITOR ? entry level

mlb associates is a provider of Premium Audit support for the leading Property / Casualty provider in the US and is accepting applications for the position of Premium Auditor Trainee in the Anchorage, Alaska area.

 

Many types of commercial insurance are written on an estimated premium basis and are subject to audit at policy expiration to determine the final premium. This is a condition of the policy and an auditor will schedule an appointment to audit the records of the business which can involve audits of payroll, sales, subcontracted or commercial auto depending on the policy coverage.

 

The appropriate premium base is audited based on rules and regulations as to classification and inclusion or exclusion. The auditor also tours the premises and makes a report verifying the operations are as described by the insurance policy. An auditor can be expected to make an average of 3 audits per day.

 

Candidates that qualify for this position will be placed in a DYNAMIC 2 YEAR PROGRAM with extensive education and field training.  This program includes an aggressive compensation package and goals.


 
PREMIUM AUDITOR TRAINEE
Our employees will provide Premium Audit services for our client?s customers so as to determine the payroll exposures used to adjust the policy premium, in accordance with State regulatory requirements. Position requires driving each day to customer?s locations to perform audits. Position will require some overnight travel.

Intensive 13 week training program, allowing you to advance both professionally and in terms of compensation at an accelerated rate.

 

Preference to candidates with prior premium audit experience

RESPONSIBILITIESOur employees will conduct audits, complete assignments timely and assist customers with setting up records.

 

REQUIREMENTGraduate of an accredited college or university with a degree in accounting, business or finance, with coursework in accounting, finance and economics.Prefer two years of post graduate business experience

 

QUALIFICATIONSEffective written and oral communication skills.Computer proficiency with working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office applications.Excellent time management skills.Clean driving record required.
