Accounting Manager for Top Law Firm

DESCRIPTIONOne of the Word's top law firms seeks Accounting Manager. This firm is headquartered in Los Angeles and has multiple offices across the United States.REQUIREMENTSResponsibilities:
Firm wide Accounting Manager will primarily focus on strengthening the firm's Accounting functions / processes. Manager will analyze, definite and determine best accounting methods and practices. Position is responsible for all General Ledger functions in addition to the Accounts Payable department. Manager will oversee staff of 10 accounting professionals and perform management duties such as hiring, training, drafting of performance evaluations etc.

Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. BA /BS degree is required, Big 4 CPA firm and/or law firm experience are highly preferred. Must have strong technology skills, including MS Office Suite and an ability to leverage technology in work processes. CMS, Elite or SQL based accounting systems experience also preferred. Previous strong managerial experience is required, as well as experience in developing and implementing processes. Ideal candidate must have superior analytical and problem solving skills.
