Accounting / Operations Dept Manager

Provide senior level management support to two or more teams involved in the investment accounting / operations functions.

1. Develops and recommend department's plan of organization.
2. Select and provide for the continuing development of subordinate managers and staff.
3. Conduct and oversee department performance reviews and provide for the ongoing guidance, training and direction to managers in developing and implementing plans and objectives.
4. Assess department operational effectiveness and make suggestions to streamline functions.
5. Work with peers both inside and outside organization to resolve high level and high impact issues.
6. Help define and implement strategic direction and new initiatives.
7. Cover various additional manager functions as needed.

Experience:
? Bachelors degree with emphasis in finance, accounting or economics.
? Prefer 10+ years related experience.
? Demonstrated ability managing multiple teams and complex activities and relationships.
? Solid understanding of all areas of investment management accounting / operations.
? Computer proficient including spreadsheet and database applications.
