Experienced Accounts Payable Clerk


Immediate opening for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk.  This position will report to the Accounting Manager.  Match purchase orders, process, verify, and reconcile invoices.  Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.Charge expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries, month end report.Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifies federal id numbers, prepares checks, resolves payment discrepancies, issues stop-payments or purchase order amendments when necessary.  Compensates employees after obtaining management approval for expense reports.Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.


1-2 Years Experience Reconciling Invoices, Attention to Detail, Accounting Skills, Proficient Data Entry Skills, Exceptional Math Skills.
