Accounts Payable Clerk

Sixty year old paving company located in Santa Ana seeks to fill the position of accounts payable clerk. We are looking for someone that is intelligent, diligent and collaborative in their approach to assigned tasks. The office promotes a team atmosphere. The accounts payable clerk will match invoices, receiving documents and purchase orders, review documentation and obtain approvals as required to process the payment of invoices;  Related filing and other office duties as assigned; Cross training in other accounting disciplines such as payroll, account reconciliation, job costing may be required. Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful but not required. Knowledge of processing accounts payable for contractors and two or more years of experience is desirable.
