TITLE: Accounts Payable Clerk    NON-EXEMPT:

 

REPORTS TO: Accounts Payable Supervisor

 

SUPERVISES: N/A

 

 

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for performing routine tasks such as payables, purchase order/invoices.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibilities include:

 



Description

Percentage of time

Matching ? matching purchase orders, receiving edits and invoices.  Code invoices as to cost center.

Inputting ? input all invoice and verify that all invoices are in the system

Check run- run checks as needed

Maintain accurate and up to date vendor records.

Work as liaison between the Accounting Manager and the vendors

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma required

At least one year accounts payable experience

Knowledge of general accounting

Dynamics Software knowledge a plus

Experience in MS Office suite a plus

 

ABILITIES/SKILLS:

Ability to work with confidential information and meet deadlines

Data entry skills and 10 key by touch

Organizational and multitasking skills
