We have an opening for an Accounts Payable position for our rapidly expanding accounting team in our Tucson office. This is a full time, temp to hire position.

Once hired permanently, benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, disability, life insurance and two weeks vacation.


Duties and Responsibilities

Provide accounting support and information for managers, staff, and employees in the areas of accounts payable, employee expenses, record keeping and systems.
Duties include processing accounts payable invoices and payments, report generation and accounting for transactions, understanding approval procedures, producing a wide variety of correspondence and documents using personal computer, and a variety of special projects assigned.

Use Great Plains system to access information and to ensure accuracy of invoices, payments, and coding of expenses for company. Research and resolve all accounts payable issues. Perform monthly and accounts payable portions of close.

Knowledge and Skills

The position is required to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Must have strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Excel, Microsoft Word and Great Plains.

Education and Experience

Accounting degree preferred but not required although some college is required.
5 years of Accounting - A/P experience.
