Summary:
Supervises the daily activity for the hospital?s Admitting and PBX/Reception departments. Schedules employees to meet the operational needs of the departments. Performs and provides administrative support services for the patient admission process. Reviews the admission documents for accuracy and timeliness. Reviews revenue batch documents for completeness and accuracy, and reviews daily census and associated statistics for accuracy and completeness. In addition, contacts and meets with families for admission registration, financial patient information and conducts special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
On-the-job or equivalent training/experience in admitting procedures in a healthcare setting preferred.
