Job Description:

 

Reporting to the Controller, this position will:

 

-  Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and disclosures required by the SEC, including 10-Q?s and 10-K?s.

-  Play a key role in the monitoring of internal controls over financial reporting as required by Sarbanes-Oxley.

-  Coordinate the month end close process, including the preparation of monthly reporting packages.

-  Assist in treasury management and cash forecasting activities.

-  Prepare complex account reconciliations in addition to reviewing account reconciliations performed by other accounting staff.

-  Aid in the development of operating budgets.

-  Prepare supporting financial analyses on an ongoing basis.

-  Perform other special projects as directed by the Controller.

 

Qualifications:

-  Bachelors degree with an emphasis in accounting.

-  CPA required (national accounting firm experience a plus.)

-  2-5 years of public accounting / industry experience.

-  Current knowledge of requirements imposed by Sarbanes-Oxley.

-  Strong Excel user skills required. Knowledge of JD Edwards and Cognos reporting is a plus.

-  Self-motivated, ambitious individual with strong desire to learn and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

-  Must possess good communication and analytical skills.
