Associate, Information Risk Management

We are currently seeking an Associate to join us in our Birmingham office.

Information Risk Management (IRM) Services professionals assess, design, and combine leading information management and operational processes, approaches, technologies, and controls to help enable sustained business value and risk management in support of the business. Information Technology (IT) organizations and their leaders often need a business focus that helps enable them to better organize and prioritize their IT investments based on factors including business value created, return on investments, and management of risk.


Responsibilities:
- Deliver Information Risk Management (IRM) services including risk assessments, audit planning, systems auditing, system development reviews, implementation, operation and/or platform
- Evaluate and design system-based and manual controls around Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle and other) applications business processes
- Review information security controls to help provide effective, efficient, and secure access to information within these applications
- Assist in the scoping of prospective engagements and developing proposals

Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of Visio, Microsoft Project, and other Project Management tools
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives
- A strong client services orientation and be accustomed to taking an active role in executing engagements
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to travel an average of 50 percent of the time
- Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college/university in a related field
- Three years of advisory services experience delivering Information Technology (IT) Audit System Integration projects including risk assessments, platform reviews and ERP package controls
- Project or team lead experience
