Business Analyst

JOB PURPOSE

Under general supervision, support the Finance and Business Development organizations in performing strategic business research and analysis.

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific Responsibilities:

?  Develop financial models, forecasts, business plans, market research and presentation materials

?  Conduct financial, product, market, operational and related research to support business development activities including strategic relationships, acquisitions and entries in to adjacent market segments

?  Interpret and evaluate research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections necessary for strategic decision making

?  Perform specified data analyses and studies as requested, and develop and present ad hoc reports in support of various initiatives

?  Plan and coordinate the development of market research studies as required and present findings of studies to management as required

?  Duties not listed in this position description may be required of the employee at the discretion of management

 

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

 

?  Proven ability to use business research principles, processes, tools and techniques

?  Solid analytical and problem solving skills and attention to detail

?  Ability to develop, prepare and deliver business analyses, plans and presentations

?  Advanced personal computer knowledge including spreadsheet, word processing, database and presentation software

?  Strong verbal and written communication skills

?   Must be have the ability to identify issues and raise concerns to the appropriate level

?  Ability to create, compose and edit written materials

 

Education/Training:

?  College degree with finance or business focus

?  Advanced computer literacy with using Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel and Power Point.  Experience with using the Internet

 

Experience: Successful work experience in a professional environment.  Knowledge of the health care system is preferred but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work Location: Company headquarters in Tucson, AZ.  Some occasional travel may be required

Physical Demands: Requires sitting or standing for extended periods of time.Extensive use of a computer and repetitive hand movements in the performance of duties.Occasional lifting and carrying of material weighing up to twenty pounds may be required
