Consultant-Sales Ops
Description:
Responsible for identifying Sales Compensation reporting requirements across the West Area
- Plans, coordinates and administers database systems, including database definition, structure, documentation, long-term requirements, operational guidelines and protection.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of data in master files and various support tools, such as database dictionaries, data extraction, and middle-tier repositories.
- Responsible for maintaining existing sales compensation database and develop long-term enhancements to database as necessary
- Provide technical guidance to team and end-users and relevant specialists
- Responsible for development of MBO data gathering and reporting.
- Responsible for incentive program reporting and tracking via commission data feeds and SET.
- Responsible for development and enhancing West Area Sales Compensation reporting
- Responsible for ad hoc reporting related to sales compensation and incentive programs
Qualifications:
BS Degree or equivalent experience
. 2 years sales incentive, commission accounting and/or sales related project management experience
. Relevant experience in the telecommunications or wireless industry
. Ability to manage highly complex cross-functional initiatives; analytical skill set a must
. Proven success in developing Access databases to analyze data
. Ability to plan database systems, including architecture, functions, modules, standards and procedures
. Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
. Ability to exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
. Ability to mentor others in database and report design
. Ability to independently prioritize work assignments, based on changing business needs
. Proven success in strategy planning and execution
. Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
. Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency
