Cost Accountant

Great opportunity to be trained as a cost analyst for a successful, growing, company in the manufacturing industry. If you have a 4 yr. degree in accounting or finance, at least 2 yrs. of general accounting experience and can be effective in a fast paced, multi task manufacturing environment this could be the career opportunity you've been looking for.

Responsibilities will include material loss, direct labor and overhead analysis and reporting, provide guidance and training to Operations on cost drivers, educated line personnel on product costing and the impact on variable cost. You will also assist the Finance Manager with monthly close functions, reconciling accounts and ensuring SOX controls are maintained.

Must be proficient with Excel and other financial systems (i.e. PRISM, Oracle). Have excellent analytical skills, open to relocation for career path to Factory Controller.
