What a great position for growth to be offered!  This reports directly to the Controller.  You will have a chance to show your expertise and expand your knowledge base in: 
Insuring that the company?s financial records are maintained and reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and that all required external reports (e.g., 10K, 10Q)
SOX Management: Continue maintenance and other activities to insure compliance. Also, maintain and preparation of documentation (56 processes) inquire about changes, updates, narratives and metrics. Also ongoing activities and provide general accounting  management and support.
Will manage process for preparation and filing of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and Proxy.
Participate in the writing of all report sections along with shepherding reviews from outside counsel and auditors. 
Research, document and present to executive staff, finance team and when appropriate the Audit Committee recently issued accounting standards and new disclosure requirements.
Internal accounting and financial policy development. Review processes for efficiency and accuracy.  Evaluate compliance with current controls through review and analysis then identify areas of control requiring re-evaluation and follow-up.  Identify and document new controls.
Develop implementation and document new policies and procedure and revise current documentation or develop new documentation as appropriate.
Assist in preparation of annual audit reports for subsidiaries. 
Assist in preparation of state regulatory reporting as necessary for start-up plans.
Participate in completing schedules for annual audit.

Requirements include, but are not limited to:
5-7 years of  progressive experience in an external reporting role 
Master's degree in accounting, strongly preferred 
Background with healthcare related company preferred but NOT REQUIRED
