Job Responsibilities:

?  Supervising accounting department

?  Preparation of monthly financials, business forecasts and strategic plans

?  Review and integration of new acquisitions

?  Implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

?  Financial reporting to Corporate office

?  Management reporting

?  Coordination with DCAA and internal/external auditors

?  Submission of rate projections

 

Required Qualifications:

?  Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.  

?  7 to 10 years of accounting management experience, including government contractor experience in defense or aerospace industry

?  Project accounting and contracts experience

?  Sarbanes-Oxley knowledge and experience

?  Strong knowledge of GAAP and FAR requirements

?  Experience with annual budgeting and strategic planning process

?  Experience in organizations with minimum $50 million revenues

?  Excellent communication skills required

?  Experience with Deltek CostPoint, Excel and MS Word.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

?  Master?s degree in Accounting or Finance

?  CPA
