Director of Finance- CPA

Olive Crest has an immediate opening for a Director of Finance in our Orange County Accounting Department.  This full time position is responsible for the preparation of various internal and external financial reports and budgets.  Responsible for the supervision of the overall Finance and Accounting functions for the County of Orange.

 

Duties include:Supervision of the Controller and Accounts Receivable.Assists the CFO in developing and implementing accounting procedures in accordance with Government Auditing Standards (GAS) and other regulatory requirements.Assists CFO in developing financial policies and procedures.

 

Qualifications include:Certified Public Accountant with experience working in not-for-profit organizations.Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.Ability to work with minimum supervision and to set priorities.Experience with accounting databases.Experience with spreadsheets, word processing, filing, and 10-key.Physical ability to sit for long periods of time, utilize computer equipment, use telephone, visually review printed statements, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform physical duties usually associated with office work.
