Store Leadership

Take the lead. As a member of the Leadership Team, you'll make sure Target guests get a great shopping experience with every visit. Plus, you'll motivate and inspire store team members to consistently deliver their best.




Purpose:
As a District Team Leader, you will be responsible for the overall leadership of driving district-wide business results through the effective coaching of Store Team Leaders in all merchandising, operational and team functions. Your commitment to keeping Target stores the best in the industry will help drive sales, return on investment, guest goodwill and team member satisfaction.

Upholding the quality and productivity of every aspect of more than $250 million in sales at 10-12 stores
Motivating and inspiring entire store teams to high performance and fast, fun and friendly service
Directing store management in merchandising, operational and team functions
Working to attain maximum profits, sales, return on investment, market share, guest goodwill and team member satisfaction

Skills we're looking for:
4 year college degree
The skills and experience to oversee the sophisticated operations of multi-site stores
5 or more years of retail merchandising and operations management experience in a high-volume discount, department or specialty store
Previous multi-unit management experience
Strong interpersonal, organizational, administrative and leadership skills
Proven conflict management skills
Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision-making, financial and quantitative analysis
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations with great interpersonal skills
