FAS 133 Expert

We are currently seeking an expert in FAS 133, Accounting for Derivative Instruments and Hedging Activities, for a client in the South Bay area.This consultant is expected to have a strong understanding of policy and capable of advising on strategy and compliance as it relates to FAS 133.  Looking for a driven, independent consultant who has at least 8 years of financial, treasury, and accounting experience and at least 2 years of hands on working knowledge of FAS 133.  CPA credentials would be strongly preferred.  This project is available immediately and expected to last at least 2 months with the possibility of lasting considerably longer based on results.  Pay will be commensurate with overall finance/treasury and FAS 133 experience.  (Note: If you do not have experience with FAS 133, you will not be considered for this opportunity.)
