Financial Analyst - Cooking Light Magazine

Cooking Light magazine is looking for a talented Financial Analyst to assist with monthly financial statement close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and semi-annual budget process.

PRIMARY DUTIES: Responsible for preparation of monthly financial statements for Cooking Light magazine, including preparation and generation of journal entries using financial software. Position includes extensive involvement in semi-annual budgeting process. Other responsibilities include reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and miscellaneous projects.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor?s degree in accounting with two years of experience. Candidate must have strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other areas of business, both internal and external. Strong computer skills, namely in Excel, are a must. Peoplesoft experience is a plus.
