Requirements Bachelors in Accounting or related field CPA designationCIA designation 5+ years of auditing experienceExcellent personnel management skills that include communication skills among his or her own department while at the same time developing and maintaining diplomatic rapport with all internal and external customers.Advanced knowledge of audit methodologies, as well as risk management and assessment principles.Advanced knowledge of audit requirements and standards.Advanced knowledge of risk management and risk assessment principlesProven ability to manage and supervise staffAbility to effectively work with external auditors, customers, and other external contacts on designated projects Ability to effectively lead special projects to completion meeting customer?s expectations of outcomesThorough knowledge of personal computer software applications including but not limited to MS Office suiteAbility to organize workflow to establish goals and plan for maximum efficiency to achieve those goalsAbility to apply appropriate statistical techniques to assist management in understanding data compilation in making accurate interpretations pertinent in developing corrective action plansAbility to make decisions and assume responsibility for these decisions Superior communication skillsSuperior interpersonal skills in working with a variety of Public Programs employees and groups to build and maintain diplomatic rapportAbility to assume a leadership roleExtensive experience in the use of process improvement toolsAbility to work independently and in a self-managed role Ability to analyze a problem and develop an appropriate solution
