Internal Auditor

  Rexnord Industries has a need to expand their internal audit department at their corporate headquarters in Milwaukee.  The ideal candidate for this job is a self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions while driving continuous improvement.  As a member of the internal audit team you will work extensively with senior management.  This position is ideal for candidates seeking long term growth opportunity and the ability to influence decisions at all levels of the organization.

 

Specific Responsibilities of the Lead Internal Auditor include, but are not limited to:

Plan, organize and conduct financial, operational and compliance audits of the company's business units including:
Assessment of financial and operational risks and effectiveness of key controls.
Consulting with management regarding audit recommendations to mitigate risks and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes, as appropriate.
Preparation of audit reports and follow up on prior audit comments responses.
Experience with Sarbanes Oxley process a plus but not required.
Assist Internal Audit Manager in establishment of plans, goals, schedules, budgets and policies which support strategic deployment goals.
Work on various special projects as requested by management.

 

Experience Required:

5+ Yrs solid overall accounting experience in Manufacturing environment

1-2 yrs experience in audit preferred

SOX audit experience preferred but not required

Must have demonstrated experience in the ability to communicate and influence at all levels

Travel 25%

 

Educational Requirements:

BA/BS in Accounting required; CPA would be a plus
