Senior Operational Analyst Supporting Groundbased Midcourse Defense!!

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Senior level schedule analyst for full-time, direct support to Operations Plans and Assessment Directorate--a knowledge-based organization (KBO). Provides the focal point within the GMD JPO for operations and plans activities. Analysis of operational needs against program-wide developer requirements to ensure that events are de-conflicted and synchronized. Recommends changes to both developmental program events, which will be routinely presented to the GMD Deputy for Support Operations. On a daily basis, the team provides interface on developmental activities and provides situation understanding to GMD senior leadership in cooperation with the prime contractor. With a focus on schedule and de-confliction, the individual will identify seams and gaps across the GMD program and support integration of the GMD element within the evolving ballistic missile defense system (BMDS). This position will analyze all operational sustainment and development schedules.

Basic Qualifications:
-Master's degree from an accredited university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus 15 years related experience. -9 or more years supervisory or management experience. -5 years of general experience with the military, civil service, or industry which includes direct support/close subordinate to executive leaders (general officer, SES, industry vice-president). -Current Secret security clearance or eligible for immediate einstatement. Preferred Qualifications: -Advanced skills in MS Office suite - Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project -Open Plan Professional experience -Proficiency in oral and written communication skills to prepare and present information to managers and to establish and maintain smooth work relationships with individuals and groups at various levels of authority and responsibility within and outside of the organization. -Ability to work independently with little or no supervision to produce consistently exceptional work -High-level organizational skills/outstanding ability to organize large quantities of diverse data into concise and useful information. -Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, high stress environment
