Order Entry - A/R Clerk

Are you looking to join a growing Finance Team?? Scantron Corporation, a name trusted by both the Educational and Commercial markets for more than 32 years, has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Order Entry - A/R Clerk.? This Order Entry/Receivables Clerk will enter orders for all software, hardware, forms, and related products and services, review new orders for accuracy, and prepare/mail customer renewal notices.? He/She will request set up of new customer accounts or make changes to existing accounts.? The position is responsible for participating in the collection of accounts receivables in a professional, efficient and timely manner, answer customer calls and research customer sales history to answer questions and assist in customer service.? Additional responsibilities include assisting the A/R collectors resolve unapplied customer credits.

The ideal candidate must possess analytical and critical thinking skills, be a team player, and be able to interact with both internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
Verify pricing and customer related information, and enter orders for various Scantron products including hardware, software, forms, professional services, etc.Renew Software Maintenance Agreements.? Print renewal notices reviews and mail to customers.? Process returned renewal notices for invoicing.Enter and manage customer subscriptions on Scantron?s productsInvestigate and solve customer problems / complaints.Provide back-up to the other Accounts Receivable personnel and perform basic duties associated with the other positions (e.g. collections)


QUALIFICATIONS OF THE POSITION:

-? 2 years of related experience (waived for recent graduate with a BA or BS degree)
-? Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

-? Flexibility to work additional hours as needed

-? Excellent Attendance

-? High School Diploma or equivalent.? AA, BS or BA degree a plus.
