Pactiv is looking for a seasoned financial professional to serve as Controller in our Bakersfield, CA manufacturing plant as well as have Controller responsibility for our Fresno, CA and Yakima, WA manufacturing plants. They will oversee and develop our product cost standards, manage plant operating plan submissions, capital projects, and monthly financial performance reporting.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

Apply accounting principles, theories, concepts, and practices to the solution of problems.
Provide technical advice and services to operating managers, interpreting accounting reports and statements.
Evaluate complete assignments for conformance with applicable policies, regulations, and tax laws.
Execute the proper accounting treatment of financial transactions.
Recommend solutions to complex financial problems related to plant operations.
Evaluate supply chain cost trade-offs involving manufacturing, warehouse, freight and inventory.
Related recommendations should be clearly communicated to plant and regional management as is applicable.
Manage direct reports in Bakersfield as well as Fresno, Ca and Yakima, WA.
