Plant Controller

Cooler Service Company, a subsidiary of Chart Industries, Inc. and operated under Chart Energy and Chemicals Inc., designs and manufactures custom air cooled heat exchangers utilizing advanced technology in thermal and mechanical design for the hydrocarbon, petrochemical and industrial gas processing markets.  Cooleer Service Company is seeking a Controller for its manufacturing plant in Tulsa, Oklahoma.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (scope): Provide ROI financial analysis for growth and expansion plansWork with executive team on potential transition into new facilityDevelop and provide monthly financial analysis on operating results Reconcile and report weekly orders and backlog Manage capital expenditures, including justifications and requestsWork with Energy and Chemicals accounting group on monthly closing and preparation of financial statements and account analysis, including job cost/margin analysisWork with Energy and Chemicals Manager of Cost Accounting to integrate Chart?s job costing system and establish inventory controls Work with Chart Corporate and Energy and Chemicals finance personnel to integrate accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, etc. and related functions such as billing, credit/cash collections, receiving cash disbursements and hourly labor reporting to Chart?s systems Coordinate Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance project for the locationManage 2 to 3 administrative personnelOther projects as assigned

 

Qualifications needed for success in position

 Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skillsAdvanced Excel & Microsoft Office skillsAbility to successfully work with individuals at all levels of an organization

 

Education and/or Experience

 

?  B.S. degree in accounting or finance

?  CMA or MBA a plus

?  8 to 10 years of accounting experience, with experience as a plant or operations controller in high growth manufacturing environment preferred
