Project Accountant - Accounts Payable (AP)

We have an exciting direct-hire opportunity with a Property Management Company in Irvine, CA.  This company is looking for a PROJECT ACCOUNTANT - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE person for their Construction Division.

This is a newly created position due to growth the company has experienced.  The company is a privately owned, diversified real estate management and development company, which has been active in the Western United States for over 38 years.

The Construction Divsion supports multifamily construction and property renovation.  They have developed and built more than 15,000 apartment units in a wide scope of product types in numerous markets.

 

PROJECT ACCOUNTANT - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Responsibilities:

Work directly with vendor's contracts.  You will be relsolving any billing issues and explaining any discrepencies. You will be approving contracts and verifing information on contracts.  You will be responsible for preliminary notices and releases. 

Requirements:

MUST have Accounts Payable Construction experience, 2-3 years of experience

Strong Excel knowledge

Excellent communication skills, heavy phone contact

Timberline experience a PLUS

Must be an independant, self-starter with a good sense of urgency.  The department is fast paced.
