Project Control Analyst

Description: Prepares cost/price volumes for proposals. Analyzes estimates from program managers for labor hours, materials, subcontracts, travel, and other direct costs to develop cost proposals. Develops estimates for cost proposals based on information in requests for proposals (RFPs) and program managers. Builds and completes detailed cost spreadsheets using MS Excel to support RFPs. Develops cost tracking worksheets for program managers for use in tracking program status after contract award. Has a thorough knowledge of cost estimating techniques. Is familiar with the FAR, DFARS, and NASA FAR Supplement. Produces other cost volume documents as required by the RFPs. Function: Leads the proposal cost volume development effort as part of a multi-disciplined proposal writing team. Participate in proposal reviews. Lead pricing efforts involving multiple teammates (subcontractors and prime contractors). Support the capture manager in developing pricing strategies. Participate in post award kick-off and contract set-up meetings. Participate in proposal strategy meetings. Provide support to program mangers after contract award by completing cost tracking spreadsheets.
