We are currently seeking an accounting / finance professional with experience in accounting/auditing/Sarbanes Oxley.

 

SARBANES OXLEY ANALYST

Phoenix, AZ

 

Responsibilities:

?  Aid in the SOX controls evaluation as it relates to internal and application-related controls

?  Evaluate and remediate processes surrounding Finance, internal systems, policies and procedures

?  Coordinate with external service providers to obtain compliance reports (SAS70)

?  Train process owners in the use of SOX software package

?  Assist in the rollout and completion of SOX testing at each business unit and the review of SOX Management testing results

?  Coordinate Sarbanes-Oxley Audit(s) with External Auditors/Internal Audit Services

?  Assist in quarterly review updates of processes/procedures and related documentation

?  Assist in the development and creation of test results reports to Senior Management

?  Work with management and users to identify best practice procedures

?  Assist in the implementation of future process/system changes to ensure continued SOX compliance

?  Coordinate and review remediation efforts at each business unit

 

Requirements:

?  Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CIA is preferred

?  1-2 years of accounting/auditing/SOX experience is preferred

?  In-depth knowledge of general accounting

?  Great communication and interpersonal skills

?  Proven project management skills are desired

?  Knowledge of IT/IS is a plus
