SR. ACCOUNTANT/ASST. CONTROLLER - CONSTRUCTION

Our client, a successful, well established, and growing construction contractor located near the Orange County border in Corona, CA, has asked us to assist them with the following full-time position:

 

 SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - ACCOUNTING MANAGER

 

DUTIES:

Prepare month end close, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Manage bank and general ledger reconciliations

Variance analysis and recommendation of changes

Assist in regulatory reporting as applicable

Assist in preparation of progress billing to customers

Oversee contract compliance

Assist in the preparation of project cash flow and cash flow monitoring

 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 5 years general accounting, last 2-3 years in construction environment

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

4 year accounting degree (equivalent experience considered in lieu of accounting degree for exceptional candidates)

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Superior Excel skills

Timberline accounting software

Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
