About the Opportunity
We need a talented individual to fill the role of Senior Accountant. This individual will be responsible for a variety of duties ranging from General Ledger posting in Great Plains to supervising and coaching a team or 5-10 team members.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: sub-ledgers, entries from modules, sales, purchasing, payables, inventory, balancing and analysis of accounts in Great Plains; oversee bank reconciliations for several accounts including general operating account and branch accounts; reconcile balance sheet accounts including accruals and related schedules; oversee the tracking of day-to-day transactions over website and all other merchant accounts; oversee daily revenue posting activities including importing and balancing of sales batches into Great Plains; produce and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reports using Great Plains, FRx, and MS Excel; communicate with Marketing department for publication of sales analysis figures; coordinate month-end and year-end closings.

Requirements:

BA/BS degree in Accounting.

Polite and pleasant manner a must.

Punctuality and reliability required.

Strong computer skills a must including Word, Excel, & Outlook.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Prioritization skills.

Ability to multitask.

Quick learner and self-starter.
