Senior Financial Analyst

 

RedPrairie is seeking a self starting individual to contribute as a Senior Financial Analyst!  Work in a fast paced, challenging environment for a growing technology company!

 

Responsibilities include:

 

?Assist in the development and modification of operational budgets and forecasts.

? Ensure that generally accepted accounting principles are properly applied to all budgeting activities.

?Provide financial support to all areas of management in their efforts to budget and forecast for their departments.

?Prepare reports for presentation to executive management.

? Analyze financial results on a timely basis to ensure informed business decisions are made.  Analysis should be against plan, prior year and forecast.

? Assist in the roll-up and analysis of product line P&L?s for the Company, constantly striving to improve the reporting capabilities.

? Aid in the Cash Forecasting and Treasury functions of the organization.

? Serve as a financial representative on any number of teams/task forces throughout the Company.

? Provide limited supervisory skills where required.

Skills and Qualifications:

? Bachelor?s degree in Finance or Accounting required, CPA preferred.

? 7-10 years of cost accounting or finance experience.

? Thorough knowledge of financial planning and analysis trends and techniques including proven success in such a role at well established companies. 

? Track record of participation in successful team environments.

? Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

?Effective interaction skills with all levels of the organization.

?Strong problem solving skills, organization skills and work ethic.

?Strong knowledge of Excel, Powerpoint, and data mining.
