Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Description: The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide the Disneyland Resort with accurate and timely ticket revenue reporting, meaningful business analysis, and forecasting that positively impacts Guest service and/or profitability.

Account for the SAB104 impact to A&R revenues on a monthly basis. Complete necessary reporting. Complete forecasting on a periodic basis: 1) SAB101 impact to A&R revenues. 2) A&R deferred revenue adjustments 3) balance sheet forecasts for the ticket deferred revenue account.

Analyze the ticket reserves, on a monthly basis, and forecast all ticket upsides and/or downsides. Annual operating plan responsibilities: 1) develop SAB101 impact to A&R revenues. 2) develop quarterly plan for deferred revenue account
Complete the balance sheet fact sheet for deferred revenues for each quarter end (or as requested). Provide accounting support for Resort ticketing initiatives: 1) Project Infinity 2) Online sales 3) CityPass 4) Tickets from home

Develop and maintain diagnostic reports in support of A&R revenue recognition and timely weekly reporting. Provide support to department to ensure adequate internal controls are in place and revenue recognition is in accordance with GAAP. Identify process improvement opportunities to improve efficiencies and profitability Provide leadership, guidance, and problem-solving assistance to fellow Cast as necessary.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting or finance (CPA or MBA preferred).
3-5 years experience
Excellent knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to solve business problems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Crystal Report Writer and other common analytical and presentation software, and an aptitude to quickly learn other software packages.
