New Horizons Worldwide, Inc. the largest independent IT training company worldwide is currently looking to recruit and hire a Senior IT Auditor with excellent people skills for their Orange County HQ.

Job Description:

The Sr. IT Auditor will conduct reviews of Information Technology functions to address IT practices, internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley compliance. The ideal candidate for this role will: Perform risk assessment of all company systems and applications to determine the IT scope and approach for the Sarbanes Oxley compliance project.Perform COBIT ?gap? analysis to determine if the company is adequately controlled in order to satisfy Sarbanes Oxley compliance

?  Test IT general controls to satisfy Sarbanes Oxley compliance

?  Test IT end user controls to satisfy Sarbanes Oxley compliance

?  Test IT software application controls to satisfy Sarbanes Oxley compliance

?  Act a consultant to IT on strategies to help remediate any deficiencies found in the Sarbanes Oxley audit testing

?  ?Own? the Sarbanes Oxley Access database and be the ?go to? person for the audit team on its functionality, etc.Perform reviews to assess the effectiveness of IT controls and compliance with Company policies/procedures and applicable regulatory requirements Provide relevant recommendations to strengthen and enhance IT risk management practices and the controls environment using effective communication channels (verbal and written)

 


Job Requirements:

?  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Information Technology  preferred or similar experience

?  Minimum 5 years past audit experience preferred

?  MBA or professional certification preferred (CISA/CIA/CPA)

?  Preference given to those with work history in a Big 4 Public Accounting Firm

 

Salary and Benefits:

Compensation dependent on experience.
