Daily

Coding and entering of daily cash



Update the daily closing/cash proceeds schedule



Update daily Chase Debt Outstanding and Letter of Credit Schedule



Prepare bank deposits if necessary



Code all corporate invoices, check requests and expense reports



Maintain the Corporate Journal Entry Binder



Respond to divisions questions/requests for information





Monthly

Prepare all Month-End Corporate journal entries



Maintain the Corporate Journal Entry Checklist



Compile, review Projected Closings Schedule



Compile, review Month-end Closing Variance Analysis



Compile, review Roll-forward of Actively Selling Communities Report



Compile, review and distribute the Month-end Backlog Report



Compile, review and distribute the Standing Inventory Analysis



Update the Amortization of Deferred Financing Costs schedule



Prepare bank reconciliations for all corporate cash accounts (excluding payroll)



Reconcile all intercompany accounts and prepare the monthly intercompany matrix



Review and enter payroll journals



Record monthly interest allocation to the divisions and review for accuracy



Record monthly insurance allocation to the divisions and review for accuracy



Record monthly corporate overhead allocation to the divisions and review for accuracy



Maintain and record Depreciation/Fixed Assets Schedule





Quarterly

Prepare Backlog Summary



Prepare Backlog Units Rollforward



Prepare Projects by Division



Prepare Bond Summary



Letters of Credit Summary





 

Special Items (Varies)

Research journal entries



Special projects/requests from the Corporate Controller, Treasurer and Accounting Manager



Assist in gathering information for the year-end audit



Back up the Corporate Staff Accountant and Accounting Manager
