TWO POSITIONS - Accounting Assistant & Data Entry Clerk

Our client is a fast growing company located in Anaheim Hills.  They import and export steel to and from various countries in Europe, South America, Asia, and many others.  They are a company that believes in both personal and professional growth. 

 

Due to expected growth and expansion plans currently in process, our client is currently seeking highly motivated individuals to join their company in two positions:

 

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

 

This position requires 2-5 years of experience in Accounting.  Duties will include data entry (sales order processing); faxing and mailing invoices to customers; follow-up of Accounts Receivables (collections); filing of documents; bank reconciliations; tallying with e-commerce and SBT account records (they maintain parallel records of Purchases/Sales in their e-commerce system); inventory reconciliation (accounts books with the warehouse physical stock); miscellaneous projects.  The ideal candidate will be familiar with ACCPAC (SBT Accounting package) and a self-starter on the system.  This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills and strong organizational skills.  This position reports to the Director of Finance.

 

DATA ENTRY CLERK

 

This position requires a competent and driven candidate with at least one year of experience in data entry.  The candidate will be inputting EDI and non-EDI data into our e-commerce system.  This position is highly visible in that it also works with the Sales and Accounting departments to maintain accurate inventory levels of all products.  This position will also assist in handling importing and exporting of domestic shipments by coordinating with our freight forwarders.  While they need a candidate with strong data entry skills, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to learn and improve, this is not a position where someone will sit and input numbers all day.  Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.  The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills and be willing and able to learn new programs as necessary.  This position reports to the Logistics Manager.
