Senior Tax Accountant - International
RESPONSIBILITIES:
For each of the following, timely and accurate, minimizing tax liabilities to the extent allowable under law, minimizing risks and maintaining appropriate written documentation.
Develop and analyze international items for federal and multi-state income tax returns, extensions and quarterly estimates for Fiserv, Inc. and subsidiaries. Review foreign audited financials and tax returns.
Review and prepare quarterly tax account analyses related to international.
Develop international responses for IRS and state audits. Assist with dispute resolution of audit issues.
Identify, develop, and implement tax planning opportunities, process efficiencies, and quality improvements.
Advise Fiserv domestic and international business units regarding foreign tax related issues, policies and procedures. Transition new international business operations.
Monitor current and proposed, US and foreign, tax law changes to assess impact on Fiserv.
Special projects, including coordinating external advisors, and tax research.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with Accounting major required.
MST and/or CPA preferred.
Job Related Experience:
Minimum of 4 years federal with substantial and progressive international corporate income tax experience required.
Functional Area Skills/Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of US federal tax laws related to international, including IRC ?? 482, 861-865, 901-908, 951-964, and foreign earnings and profits.
General accounting and financial skills.
Significant experience in Forms 1118 and 5471 preparations, transfer pricing, and related documentation.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work independently with limited resources.
Strong, professional verbal and written communications skills.
Extremely responsive.
Results oriented.
Strong team member.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
