Primary job responsibility will be to perform clerical, administrative, and general office duties involving word processing, typing, record and file maintenance, mail distribution, and telephone reception. Typically, an incumbent will provide secretarial services for one or more persons, typically at the middle-management level. This position requires some knowledge about the unit's operations, organization, and company operating procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist Account Manager with the pre-employment screening (criminal and drug) for all janitorial and maintenance employees. Support maintenance of the unit?s finances. Activities include: copying check requests and sending to accounts payable expense reports for reimbursements. Keep active listing of all personnel within unit. ?Establish, develop, maintain and/or update filing system for all of the region?s accounts. Respond to customer calls when necessary. Such activity may include notifying Regional Manager and/or Account Manager, or personally handling the call. Assist with incoming mail and interoffice correspondence. Ensure it is delivered to the correct employee or manager. Type and design general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, graphs, business plans, etc. Proofreads copy for spelling, grammar, and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy. May work independently andor within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing projects. Such projects may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, coordinating direct mailings. Schedule and organize various activities such as, but not limited to, meetings and travel itineraries.

Experience and Skills:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION: Associate?s?degree AND a minimum of 5 years related experience.





OR



High school diploma AND 10 years related experience.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

High energy level and enthusiasm. Comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with normal activities. Strong level of discretion, professionalism, personal ownership, and attention to detail. Strong communication skills both oral and written; ability to communicate effectively with all levels, internally and externally. Strong organizational skills & problem-solving skills. Ability to handle confidential information. Ability to work in a team environment. Proficient in MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willing to work intensely until projects and duties are complete. Sense of urgency & ability to meet deadlines; self-directed.



PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS REQUIRED:

Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods. Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 15 pounds.
