1. What are the major objectives to be accomplished by the person in this job?
This individual will be a supportive role to the Estimating Manager by providing administrative set-up and maintenance of EV2 as well as to work as a team and balance the Construction Services Staff.
2. What are the most frequent and most essential work activities in this job?
' Be an integral part in the set-up and updating of job budgets including configurations, selected standard options, accepted non-standard options and changes in vendors within EV2.
' Input necessary customer option estimates, produce PO's and maintain lot specific budgets based on the collaborative input of the Estimating and Purchasing departments
' Work closely with others in the Purchasing and Estimating Department to maintain unit pricing
' Create, update and prepare accurate reports (through EV2) such as purchase orders, schedule C's and other reports as required by the division for Construction Services, Construction and Accounting
' Ability to retrieve information out of Centex Systems into useable reports and analysis formats
' Track, input, follow-up, update and distribute reports for Construction Services
' Communicate updates through email and direct contact with all pertinent departments and personnel
' Other projects as needed and assigned by EV2 Administrator

' Experience in construction environment a plus.
' Proficient in computer applications, MS Excel, MS Word
' Knowledge of a database structured estimating program a plus
