Regional Directory/LNP Supervisor

Description: This position, under minimal supervision, will manage the critical day to day operational components for the delivery of telephone services. This includes, but may not be exclusive to: Local Number Portability (LNP), Directory Assistance/Directory Listings (DA/DL), telephone back office processes and manage special projects as necessary. This position will be responsible for commercial and residential services.

Manage all aspects of LNP including systems setup/support, ongoing ILEC negotiations, 3rd party software setup/support.
Coordinate with Regulatory to confirm tariff items that effect telephone billing and operations and to improve relations with competitive carriers and ILECs in the ongoing growth of the business.
Manages such back office processes as: Unlocated toll, workorder closing balance transfers, direct sales workorder order entry, ULTS, subpoena fulfillment.
Assist Convergys in the analysis of current/future ICOMS releases for potential operation effects to telephone.
Manages the introduction of new products and equipment by ensuring compatibility with existing operating systems.
Act as point of contact for special project management as required and implements them with system and Atlanta resources.
Responsible for service order entry and tracking with ILEC, CLECs & IXCs with regards to telephone installs.
Ensures successful operation of services by building relationships with existing system team to ensure support and access to system resources.
Responsible for ensuring complete and accurate information is submitted to the ILEC for directory listings.
Coordinate with the ILEC MIS Call Center to maintain upgrades to the toolbar application.
Must provide on-going training in all areas including ESI, DSET, Discover and any other applicable applications.

Qualifications:
College degree desired.
Minimum of 3 years experience working in telephone operations.
2 years experience in an LNP work environment preferred.
Proven ability to manage groups of technically focused individuals.
Must have a minimum 3 years prior supervisory experience
Technical understanding of telephone distribution networks, switching/routine operations support.
Ability to build relationships and communicate clearly.
Working knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project required.
Knowledge of operation and maintenance of telephone assignments support system.
Working knowledge of TBS preferred
Knowledge of outside plant operations and switch administration desirable.
Proven, regular and consistent use of added value skills with internal and external customers.
Ability to prioritize work schedules and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be a self-starter and willing to work in a fast-paced yet cohesive team environment.
Ability to manage complex tasks and meet deadlines.
