Job Description

The Sales Order Developer manages and massages sales orders in the second day of the production cycle.  Sales orders are categorized and reviewed to identify problems and opportunities before moving to actual production.  Inventory problems are identified and rectified prior to physical production.  The goal is to continually create the optimum production schedule.

80% Order Processing: Create a daily sales order manifest.  Create an optimum grouping of sales orders for production.  Identify inventory and production issues within sales orders prior to production.  Create target lists of order issues to be solved

15% Team Activities: Communicate problems to sales people for customer management.  Communicate with inventory team for problem solving.  Continue to develop better methodologies to improve the process for the team.

5% Company Participation: Maintain company policies and procedures.  Strive to improve and continually meet production standards.  Attend staff, department and company meetings as needed.

Requirements

? Technical aptitude, proficient in MS Office suite (Excel, Word). PC experience preferred.  Must be at least an intermediate user of Microsoft Excel. 

? 3 years experience in administration or support. 

? Millwork industry preferred

? Thirst for knowledge - eager to continuously learn new skills and adapt to changing processes.

? Ability to problem-solve, thinks outside the box, offers solutions to problems.

? Effective decision-making and follow-through, ability to follow guidelines and effectively communicate process/rules to internal customers.

? Self-motivated, responsible, detail oriented, and highly skilled at multi-tasking.

? Able to work under deadlines and time constraints.

? Able to follow detailed policies and work procedures with minute differences.
