Z90104 - Technical Service Rep II

This position is located at the Honda, Lincoln, Alabama facility.

POSTING INFORMATION: Measure, monitor, and communicate product usage and customer production schedule. Initiate required Lab Work Requests to meet account needs. Identify and support Problem Resolution Activities. Conduct material returns, as necessary. Coordinates ENSPHERE reporting to maximize effectiveness and meet targeted goals. Determines/Prioritizes internal improvement efforts that effectively raise our customer?s FTQ performance. Continually audits, improves, correct key product processes that are designed to deliver/determine/impact final product performance and customer enthusiasm. Administrative duties include, but are not necessarily limited to: Document Control and SPC, sales forecasting: inventory management: and expense budgeting. Works closely within customer coatings operations to assure that customer needs and product requirements are being met. Strictly complies to the Assembly Plant Service Process in his plant. Maintains a productive and profitable customer relation. Works with the technical service team to develop long-term communication, product and service strategiesShift Work.
NOTE: This position is part of a job family with multiple levels and will be filled at a level that is commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.

This position may require ?off shift? or ?shift rotation? according to plant schedule and/or needs.

Amount of travel involved (percentage of time, overnight / weekly?): Dependant on business growth -Minimal to Moderate.

A Bachelors Degree in Business or Technical fields or a High School Diploma with equivalent technical training and/or five years coatings laboratory experience. Highly experienced in customer product, application, and performance requirements. Good interpersonal skills, mechanical aptitude, familiarity with quality systems concepts, knowledge of SPC programs, and basic IT skills are required. Prior field service experience with automotive coatings at a customer automotive plant.
