Account Executive

 Responsibilities

 

To be the key liaison between the Agency and Client.  Support Account Supervisor in all phases of client projects. Meet with Account Supervisor to discuss account status and current projects.  Work with Account Supervisor to devise, plan and execute all phases of an advertising program for the client.  Must interview clients at length to discover their goals and desired image.  Become familiar with their products and services in order to promote features and benefits to their best advantage.  Visit client?s offices and learn about their operations and business history as well as previous advertising successes and failures.  To have an understanding of your client?s competition and determine their niche in the market.  Work with the creative department on advertising campaigns.  Expand on ideas and suggest various methods of implementation.  Work hand-in-hand on new business proposals.  Have a good understanding of all other departments within the Agency and how they can work together on behalf of your clients.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Degree in business administration, marketing or communications.

3 ? 5 years of experience in marketing or advertising

Creative ability and imagination

Excellent communication and sales skills

Ability to move from concepts to concrete expression of ideas

Ability to work under pressure
