Copywriter - Direct Marketing

The Direct Marketing Copywriter, hereafter referred to as Writer, is a member of the direct marketing creative team charged with creating the verbal/written communications of creative concepts for our Clients. This position reports directly to the Associate Creative Directors.  The Writer will review with the Associate Creative Directors and Art Director the requirements for a Client?s creative solutions and determine the deliverables and approve the deadlines of creative executions.

 

In addition to the verbal/written executions on behalf of the Agency?s clients, the Writer is an integral part in the development of forward thinking growth in their area of expertise and contributes to raising the creative excellence of the creative staff at the Agency.

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:Conceptualize with Art Director and Associate Creative Directors on developing the creative brief, which provides the direction of campaign communications to achieve the Client?s stated marketing objectives.Responsible for the timely and accurate execution of all copy functions of assigned media including editing and proofreading.Translate merchandising/product/service information into concise, customer-benefit direct marketing copy.Keep informed of trends in Clients? products, retail operations and direct competition's advertising.Stay abreast of current direct marketing trends and advancements, particularly in regard to creative executions and production techniques.Proof of legal residency required
