Director of Marketing

Science?Care sets the standard of excellence for the donation and responsible use of human tissue for medical research and training.

We are looking for a sharp marketing and community relations specialist who has a real passion for improving the quality of life to join our team. This exciting position will be based out of our Phoenix, Arizona offices and is a direct report to the Vice President of Operations.

This position involves marketing, community relations and brand management including the development and management of strategies to increase community awareness and raise the donor rate locally and nationally?for our Phoenix and Denver programs.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

1.????????????? Create and implement a strategic marketing plan with the direction of the CEO and Vice President of Operations.

2.????????????? Develop marketing, community outreach and partnership programs to generate awareness in the community, increase the donor rate and greater community acceptance.

3.????????????? Manage and monitor effectiveness of print, direct mail and display advertising campaigns.

4.????????????? Measure client satisfaction and performance by developing and conducting client surveys.

5.????????????? Develop event marketing and cause marketing initiatives that fit with Science Care?s Core Values.

6.????????????? Manage and oversee marketing budgets and activities for both donor programs. ??

7.????????????? Oversee planning and implementation of community events.

8.????????????? Help coordinate local calendar of events for both donor programs.

9.????????????? Schedule, organize and attend national shows.

10.????????? Generate media exposure through public relations activities.

??????????????????? Identify, organize and direct networking opportunities through participation in local trade associations and the support of non profit organizations.

11.????????? Work closely with graphics artists to create signage and promotional materials for marketing needs.

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:Computer knowledge on Microsoft Excel and Word programs. Creative and detail oriented. At least 5 years previous marketing and community relations experience preferably in health care, blood, organ or tissue donation. Experience developing a strategic marketing plan. Experience managing a budget. Outgoing personality and excellent communications skills. Positive ?can-do? attitude. Knowledge of health care industry.
