SUMMARY

Manages the design and production of marketing activities consistent with AB&R?s corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials and events by performing the following duties:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 Manage marketing communications projects that include public relations, advertisement placement, brand awareness campaigns and special events coordination.

 Organizes the preparation of sales proposals and presentations using marketing collateral materials such as brochures, technical white papers and industry reports.

 Maximizes the use of available marketing development funds offered by core manufacturers and key distributors.

 Create and edit a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures and press releases for a wide range of automatic identification and data collection (AIDC) uses.

 Oversees the execution of activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail and signage used to support sales events.

 Provides post-event reports, online analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs.

 Works closely with graphic artists and Web developers in the design and usability of the various company Web sites.  Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator required.

 

 Conducts marketing surveys on current and new product concepts.

 Oversee the GoldMine customer relationship management application including database integrity, automated processes and mailing lists.

 Assists in preparation of annual three-year marketing plan, long- and short-term strategies, pricing policy, and budget.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or three plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
