Medical Marketing/Sales/Advertising Manager

Job Purpose:

Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations implementation for a large, established medical transcription service. This will be a new position within the company due to owner's overabundance of responsibilities in the day to day management.  No territories, travel radius of 100 miles as well as sales via telephone/internet that would include travel expense elsewhere outside the 100 mile radius.  Medical background/medical sales a plus!

 

Duties:

 

* Develops marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, and implementing sales projects.

 

* Personally calls on prospective customers and current customers.

 

* Sustains/develops rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.


* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.

 

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.



Skills/Qualifications:

Marketing Concepts, Sales Planning, Understanding the Customer, Client Relationships, Creative Services, i.e., web design, brochures, flyers, etc.

 

Benefits:

Salary plus commission and expenses depending upon experience (to be discussed).
