GoDaddy.com is looking to hire a Public Relations Specialist.  In this role, you will be primarily responsible for corporate interaction with the media and coordination of corporate events.

 

The position is responsible for securing positive news placements for the company by proactively and reactively managing relationships with national trade, business and lifestyle press.

 

Strong press release and pitch writing skills are a must. Experience with industrial market strongly preferred.  Candidate must have ability to research diverse media and target message, 'branding" knowledge a plus.

 

This position is responsible for writing and placing news release materials, feature articles, case histories and online newsletters as well as cultivating relationships with targeted publications.  In addition, this position writes copy for direct mail, media ads and marketing literature.  Candidate must be able to concept ideas, provide quick creative solutions, take charge of multiple projects, write compelling, accurate copy, organize and multi-task on deadline.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

Public Relations or equivalent - General, Verbal Communication, Multi-tasking, Writing Skills, Self-Development, Desktop Publishing Skills, Research Skills, Press Kits, Experience in news writing. Administrative - Quality Focus, Organization, Scheduling, Phone Skills. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator skills a plus.
