JOB SUMMARY:


Associate will be responsible for functions of the proposal writing and development for New and Renewal Business. Associate will provide process improvement, standardization where appropriate; participate in the preparation, generation and execution of Proposals, maintenance of database and associated RFP’s. Associate will participate in building relationships with subject matter experts and collecting responses.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate in development, writing and construction of RFP’s and RFI’s. Participate in completion and delivery of proposals on behalf of Health Net of Arizona. Organize and maintain collateral materials necessary to complete professional responses. Update and maintain data bases as needed. Assist in development and maintenance of processes to support consistent, accurate, and timely proposal responses including QA tasks and documentation. Modify processes and functions designed to facilitate the proposal processes. Any other duties as assigned.



REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

 

Certification/License:

 

Experience:

Minimum two years experience related to RFP development and processing; healthcare experience strongly preferred. Compliance and contracting experience highly desirable.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Computer literacy with database management and MS office programs. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, while remaining detail oriented. Self directed, possessing the ability to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Department of Insurance regulations relative to employer contracting helpful.
