LOGISTICS SPECIALIST

JOB DUTIES: Knowledge of company airplane and aerospace products to

support customer operational services (e.g. maintenance manuals,

illustrated parts catalog, airplane flight manuals, service bulletins,

engineering drawings).

Knowledge of policies and procedures for releasing company proprietary

data.

Ability to analyze program directives to determine customer product

support requirements.

Knowledge of applicable policies for contractual requirements and

intellectual property licensing to develop and customize proposals.

Ability to utilize computing systems to determine correct

configurations, provide price quotes, and process orders.











Works at the organization level to administer such product support

processes as integrated logistics support, integrated support plans,

postproduction support plans, and fielding plans. Applies experience

gained primarily on the job to investigate and develop solutions to such

problems of moderate scope and complexity as support planning and

analysis; estimating; scheduling; and tracking repair, overhaul, lease,

and exchange activities. Participates in the analysis, definition, and

implementation of new and revised support systems, processes, and

policies.

 

JOB SKILLS: Prefer a bachelor's degree in an administrative discipline

or equivalent knowledge, at least 6 years' experience with product

support or other technical administrative processes and procedures, and

advanced computing skills, including specialized product support systems

and applications.
